Ultimate Red
Our flagship. Estate-grown on the eastern side of Howell Mountain at over 800 feet — cooler than the Valley floor — where the vines yield small, intensely flavored berries with finely structured tannins. Critics have found it concentrated and opulent — creamy boysenberry, black tea, and cinnamon spice over a base of graphite — a Napa classic built for patience and cool cellars.
Blend 2021: 89.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.3% Cabernet Franc, 4.7% Merlot, with a touch of Malbec
Winemaking Aged 26 months in French oak, 40% new. Approximately 1,016 cases of the 2021 vintage produced.
